Hand forged by synclastic forming, this cuff is strong, stable and comfortable. It is formed of a type of red brass known as Nugold which has been textured, forged, and oxidized to a lovely antique bronze patina. Synclastic forming is the process of creating a domed shape in metal by hammering it into a depression. The resulting piece is light in weight but structurally strong, due to a combination of the shape and the forging process.
