About Lisa Weber

Artist and silversmith Lisa Weber
Silversmith Lisa Weber
Lisa' studio is located in a log cabin in the quiet woods of the Pocono Mountains in eastern Pennsylvania. Whether planning, forging, fusing, soldering, or setting, she personally creates and signs each piece by hand. Nature provides her primary inspiration, and organic, flowing, and abstract elements are repeated in many of her pieces. Her long standing involvement with Tai Chi, herbalism, and natural healing provide the background for many of the motifs in her work.
Lisa lived 33 years in Brooklyn, NY, and taught high school science in NYC for 8 years. In 1993, she moved her family to the Pocono Mountains to enjoy the peace and serenity away from city life. She has earned bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Geology, and holds a Master's degree in Science Education. Lisa has studied jewelry making at Peter's Valley School of Crafts (NJ), Northampton College (PA), the Baum School of Art (PA), and in workshops with many well-known jewelry artists from all over the country.
When she is not making jewelry, Lisa enjoys spending time with her three children, her husband, and her two cats.
